Apply Itô's formula to Vt=A(t)St3, where A′(t)=−(2r+3σ2)A(t). Since dSt/St=μdt+σdW3(t), the drift and diffusion are
VtdVt=(−(2r+3σ2)+3μ+3σ2)dt+3σdW3(t).
(1)
Thus
μ=3μ−2r,σ=3σ.
(2)
Under the risk-neutral measure its drift becomes 3r−2r=r, as required for a traded, non-dividend-paying replicating asset.
