For r(t)=(t,t2,t3), the endpoints correspond to t=0,1 and r˙=(1,2t,3t2). The vector field on the path is A=(9t2,−14t5,20t7), so the line integral is
∫CA⋅dr=∫01(9t2−28t6+60t9)dt=3−4+6=5.
(1)
Including the derivative of each path coordinate is essential; merely substituting the path into the field does not supply the line element.
