If a regular plane curve has positive curvature κ and a particle moves with speed v=1/κ in the chosen time units, its elapsed time is ∫κds, the total curvature traversed. On a logarithmic spiral r=aebθ, both ds/dθ and 1/κ equal r1+b2. Hence dt=dθ and every complete turn takes time 2π, regardless of its radius.
