Substitute the three nonzero initial-velocity coefficients into the general Fourier sine series, with ω1=πc/L:
y(x,t)=ω1V0[sinLπxsinω1t+41sinL2πxsin2ω1t+92sinL3πxsin3ω1t].

Every term satisfies the wave equation and the endpoint conditions. Differentiating in time at zero recovers the three coefficients V0,V0/2,2V0/3, providing a direct initial-data check.
