Put charges +Q and −Q on the concentric conductors. Gauss's law gives E(r)=Q/(4πϵ0r2) between them, a<r<2a. The potential difference is
ΔV=∫a2a4πϵ0r2Qdr=8πϵ0aQ.
(1)
The capacitance of this vacuum spherical capacitor is therefore
C=ΔVQ=8πϵ0a.
(2)
The conductors are equipotentials; a uniform dielectric filling would replace ϵ0 by its permittivity.
