The information entropy F(λ) of a Poisson distribution is strictly increasing for λ>0. Given λ2>λ1, take independent U∼Pois(λ1) and V∼Pois(λ2−λ1). Their sum has Poisson distribution with mean λ2, so entropy monotonicity under independent addition gives F(λ2)≥F(λ1). All these information entropies are finite, and Cov(U+V,V)=Var(V)>0 excludes equality.
