With U(N)=∑i=1Nϵi+(Ne−Qg)2/(2CΣ), the addition electrochemical potential is μN=ϵN+(N−1/2)e2/CΣ−eQg/CΣ. Gate and lead voltages enter Qg. Adjacent addition potentials differ by an orbital spacing plus e2/CΣ.
