Torsional stiffness
For a uniform rod of length L and twist per unit length τ, the end-rotation angle is φ=Lτ. The chain rule gives Kτ=LKφ, where Kφ is the torsional stiffness. If a source defines a normalized torque M=N/(2π), its derivative is dM/dτ=Kτ/(2π).
