The Michaelis-Menten rate law is
v=KM+sVmaxs.
(1)
It is linear at low substrate concentration and saturates at Vmax at high concentration.

Michaelis-Menten equation
The substrate concentration giving half the limiting reaction rate in the Michaelis-Menten equation. In the elementary mechanism E+S⇌ES→E+P, it is KM=(k−1+kcat)/k1 under the quasi-steady-state approximation, whereas the binding dissociation constant is Kd=k−1/k1.
