Align the spatial axes and make the origins coincide at t=t′=0. For an inertial frame moving at velocity +v along x, the Lorentz transformation is
x′=γ(x−vt),t′=γ(t−c2vx),y′=y,z′=z,γ=1−v2/c21.
(1)
The inverse Lorentz transformation follows by interchanging primed and unprimed coordinates and replacing v by −v.
