A posterior predictive probability averages a future-event probability over the Bayesian posterior. For a Bernoulli distribution with unknown parameter p, it is E[p∣D]. Under Beta-binomial conjugacy with posterior Beta(a,b), the predictive success probability is a/(a+b).
