In addition to his research, Chou has been involved in various academic and professional organizations, contributing to the advancement of science through publications and collaborations.
Jonathon Howard might refer to a specific individual or a fictional character, but without more context, it's difficult to give a definitive answer. If you're referring to a particular person known for a specific profession or achievement, please provide more context or details, and I'd be happy to help! If it's about a fictional character or a specific context such as literature, film, or television, please clarify that as well.
John Rasmussen is a professor known for his work in the field of mathematics, particularly in areas related to algebra, functional analysis, and operator theory. He has made contributions to various mathematical disciplines and may be associated with academic research and teaching at a university.
Jane S. Richardson is a prominent American biochemist and structural biologist known for her work in the field of protein structure and function. She is particularly recognized for her contributions to the development of methods for visualizing and representing complex biological molecules. Richardson is best known for creating the "ribbon diagram" representation of protein structures, which provides a clearer way to illustrate the three-dimensional shapes of proteins, making them more accessible and understandable.
Jane Clarke is a prominent scientist known for her work in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. She is particularly recognized for her research on protein folding and misfolding, which has implications for understanding diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Clarke's work often involves using advanced techniques in biophysics to study the mechanisms by which proteins attain their functional shapes and how these processes can go awry.
As of my last knowledge update in October 2021, Izzy Jayasinghe does not appear to be a widely known public figure, brand, or term. If this name or term has gained significance or notoriety after that date, I would not have information on it.
Henri Devaux is a French businessman who is best known as the CEO of the international packaging company, *Rexam*, and later as the CEO of *Crown Holdings, Inc.*, which specializes in metal packaging for consumer goods. His leadership style and strategic decisions in these executive roles have contributed to the growth and development of the packaging industry.
As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, there is no widely known individual or concept specifically named "Gideon Davies." It's possible that Gideon Davies could refer to a person, a character in a book, a fictional work, or a lesser-known figure that has emerged after that date.
Ewa Paluch is a prominent scientist known for her research in the field of immunology and cell biology. She has made significant contributions to understanding how the immune system functions, particularly in the context of inflammation and tissue repair. Paluch's work often involves studying the mechanics of cell movement and how cells interact with their environment, which can have implications for understanding various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders.
Eva Nogales is a prominent scientist known for her work in the field of structural biology. She is particularly recognized for her research using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), a powerful imaging technique that allows scientists to visualize the structure of biomolecules at very high resolution. This method has been instrumental in understanding the structures of various proteins and complex biological systems, aiding in the development of drugs and therapies.
Elena P. Ivanova may refer to a professional or academic figure, but without specific context, it is difficult to provide detailed information. It's possible she is involved in science, academia, or another field.
Dinshaw Patel is a name that is not widely recognized in mainstream contexts, and it may refer to different individuals or entities depending on the context. However, if you are referring to a notable figure in a specific field, it would be helpful to have more details. One well-known Dinshaw Patel is associated with the field of chemistry, particularly in the study of molecular structure and interactions. He has made contributions to the understanding of chemical compounds and biological systems.
Cecilia Clementi does not appear to refer to a widely recognized individual or concept in popular culture or academic fields based on knowledge up to October 2023. It is possible that Cecilia Clementi could be a lesser-known figure, a character from a piece of literature, or someone notable in a specific niche or context that isn't broadly documented.
Cari Borrás does not appear to be a widely recognized term, person, or entity based on the information available up to October 2023. It could potentially refer to a private individual, a specific product, or a lesser-known term within a niche community.

Pinned article: Introduction to the OurBigBook Project

Welcome to the OurBigBook Project! Our goal is to create the perfect publishing platform for STEM subjects, and get university-level students to write the best free STEM tutorials ever.
Everyone is welcome to create an account and play with the site: ourbigbook.com/go/register. We belive that students themselves can write amazing tutorials, but teachers are welcome too. You can write about anything you want, it doesn't have to be STEM or even educational. Silly test content is very welcome and you won't be penalized in any way. Just keep it legal!
We have two killer features:
  1. topics: topics group articles by different users with the same title, e.g. here is the topic for the "Fundamental Theorem of Calculus" ourbigbook.com/go/topic/fundamental-theorem-of-calculus
Articles of different users are sorted by upvote within each article page. This feature is a bit like:
    • a Wikipedia where each user can have their own version of each article
    • a Q&A website like Stack Overflow, where multiple people can give their views on a given topic, and the best ones are sorted by upvote. Except you don't need to wait for someone to ask first, and any topic goes, no matter how narrow or broad
This feature makes it possible for readers to find better explanations of any topic created by other writers. And it allows writers to create an explanation in a place that readers might actually find it.

  2. local editing: you can store all your personal knowledge base content locally in a plaintext markup format that can be edited locally and published either:
This way you can be sure that even if OurBigBook.com were to go down one day (which we have no plans to do as it is quite cheap to host!), your content will still be perfectly readable as a static site.
Figure 5. . You can also edit articles on the Web editor without installing anything locally.
